Download Audiobooks and eBooks from the Warren County Library Website

Belvidere, NJ - Through NetLibrary and ListenNJNW, Warren County Library patrons have anytime, anywhere access to thousands of different eBook and audiobooks titles. These can be accessed and downloaded via the library’s website, www.warrenlib.org. Just click on the Net Library or ListenNJNW icons on the Warren County Library homepage and follow the instructions provided.

Audiobooks are books that have been read aloud and recorded. “Audiobooks in the form of cassettes and CDs have been popular in libraries for many years,” said Library Director Maureen Wilkinson. “The ability to download audiobooks from the Web is being embraced by long-time listeners as well as new listeners who want materials for their portable media devices.”

A popular format in many libraries, downloadable audiobooks allow library patrons to listen to materials on-the-go. Audiobooks can be checked out from the library or from a personal computer via the library’s Web site at any time. These audiobooks are automatically returned to the library at the end of the checkout period.

eBooks are full-text, electronic versions of published books that library users can search, borrow, read and return via the internet. “We are excited to offer eBooks as a new resource for library patrons,” said Director Wilkinson. “Because eBooks are accessible anytime of the day or night from the internet, people who can’t visit the library during open hours will still be able to gain access to these resources.” eBooks can also be checked out anytime via the library’s Web site.
