The Encyclopedia Britannica is Added to the Warren County Library Website

May 26, 2009—Years ago, it was an asset to have a multi-volume print encyclopedia at home. Door to door salesmen would explain why it was essential for every family to own the newest edition. In the twenty-first century this is no longer true. Today, everyone with a question and a computer can Google an answer. Unfortunately, you can’t always trust the information you find on various web sites, and most teachers will not accept citations from Wikipedia on school reports. The Warren County Library is pleased to announce that access to the Encyclopedia Britannica has been added to the library website www.warrenlib.org. This encyclopedia has been a well respected reference since it began publication 1768, and you can now access this trusted source of information from your home computer with your library card number or at any branch of the library at one of our public computer stations.
The reference page of our website includes many other databases, including  Corfacts NJ Business Directory, Global Road Warrior, Heritage Quest, Magills Medical Guide, Gale Legal Forms, Price It! Antiques and Collectibles, newspaper and magazine articles and more.
