The local history room features a New Jersey collection, which includes state, county, and town histories, maps, and information on everything from archeological excavation sites to the Morris Canal. The local history room also features a genealogy collection, which includes newspapers, cemetery records, family histories, military listings, and biographies. We invite you to explore these resources, which are open to all. You can discover more about our collections through our online catalog or our collections page.
If you plan to visit us, you can use the Local History and Genealogy Room at any time the library is open. We have one microfilm reader/printer that is available on a first come, first served basis. Time on the reader/printer is limited to 30 minutes if others are waiting to use it. Copies are 10 cents each.
