The Garden State Teen Book Award is a project of the Young Adult Section of the New Jersey Library Association. The section represents libraries from throughout the state, and selected nominees are based on teen appeal and quality of writing of teen fiction and nonfiction published during the previous year.
Books are nominated in three categories: Fiction (middle school), Fiction (high school), and Nonfiction (middle-high school). View previous year's winners and nominees, or vote for your favorites now!
Teens are invited to vote for their favorite books through online ballots. Last day for voting is December 31, 2025.
